To maintain transparency and accuracy in communications, it's crucial for grantees to understand and adhere to specific guidelines.

These guidelines ensure that the nature of the grants is accurately represented and that the integrity of both the grantees and the TON Foundation is preserved.

Understanding the Nature of TON Grants

It is essential to understand that the grants provided by the TON Foundation are intended solely as financial support to accelerate the development of projects within the TON ecosystem. These grants are not investments, endorsements, or partnerships in any legal or financial sense. The TON Foundation does not take equity, ownership, or any other financial interest in the projects it supports through grants.

Guidelines for Grantees on Public Communication

To ensure that all communications regarding TON grants are accurate and consistent, we ask that all current and future grantees adhere to the following guidelines:

1. No Premature Announcements

Grantees must refrain from making any public announcements about receiving a grant from the TON Foundation until until the first milestone is delivered & approved. This includes social media posts, blog entries, and other public communications.

They must send us a draft of any planned coms (and it s actually clearly stated in the grant agreement - please take that abstract from the grant template). Our approval is crucial

2. Representation of the Grant

3. Proper Use of TON Branding

Any use of branding in relation to grants must get an approval from the TON Foundation.

4. Legal and Ethical Responsibilities
